This modern rooftop garden transformed the top of an underutilized parking garage into a tranquil oasis and meditative garden within the Houston Medical Center. Distinct areas form outdoor rooms for gathering or individual contemplation. The space was design for those undergoing medical treatment, as a place to find quiet respite amidst the urban context.   The modern rooftop garden  provides environment benefits including reduced water runoff, reduced solar heat gain, and air purification, promiting sustainability within the city.  In addition this parking garage transformation also forms a natural habitat for butterflies and migratory birds.
