The Quantlab Financial Stair physically connects two floors within this commercial interiors project but serves a greater purpose in connecting business units, allowing the space flow together and feel like a single company rather than being divided between floors.  The glass stair features a structural steel stringer, glass guardrails, and natural stone treads.  Careful detailing of the glass stair created the appearance of lightness and the stair seeming to float with in the space.  Custom wood patterned screens with backlit elements form a dramatic backdrop to the feature stair.  Views from the second floor were carefully considered to maximize openness with glass panels.  Intexure also served as project manager on this space in collaboration with Planning Design Design Research Corporation on the commercial interiors.
